Karel du Jardin

(Dutch, 1626–1678)

Room Paintings holds three paintings by Karel du Jardin, from the Rijksmuseum. They date from 1652 to 1662. We file all of them under Dutch Golden Age. The most common subjects are animals, horses and landscapes. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the bedroom and guest room.
