Nicolaes Pietersz Berchem

(Dutch, 1620–1683)

Room Paintings holds four paintings by Nicolaes Pietersz Berchem, from the Rijksmuseum. They date from 1647 to 1656. We file all of them under Dutch Golden Age. The most common subjects are landscapes, animals and work and labor. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the guest room and living room.
