Peeter Baltens
(Flemish, 1527–1584)
Room Paintings holds two paintings by Peeter Baltens, from the Rijksmuseum. They date from 1540 to 1570. We file all of them under 16th-Century Painting. The most common subjects are groups and gatherings, men and birds. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the dining room and home gym.
