Adam Willaerts

(Dutch, 1577–1664)

Room Paintings holds two paintings by Adam Willaerts, from the Rijksmuseum. They date from 1621 to 1628. We file all of them under Dutch Golden Age. The most common subjects are boats and harbors, landscapes and leisure and sport. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the bathroom and guest room.
