Jacob Bellevois

(Dutch, 1621–1676)

Room Paintings holds two paintings by Jacob Bellevois, from the Rijksmuseum. All of them date from 1640. We file all of them under Dutch Golden Age. The most common subjects are boats and harbors, landscapes and leisure and sport. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the guest room and home gym.
