William E. Norton

(1843–1916)

Room Paintings holds three paintings by William E. Norton, from the Smithsonian American Art Museum. They date from 1875 to 1892. We file all of them under Late 19th-Century Painting. The most common subjects are architecture, boats and harbors and landscapes. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the bathroom and guest room.
