William Glackens

Room Paintings holds three paintings by William Glackens, from the National Gallery of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. They date from 1905 to 1910. We file most of them under Ashcan School, and some under Impressionism and Realism. The most common subjects are cityscapes, leisure and sport and men. All of them suit a room in our lists, most often the dining room and home office.
